A Trip to the Eye Doctor

I tore my last contact lense last week, so I called to set up an eye appointment. Since Frank is in semi-retirement, the soonest I could get in to see him was June, so I set up an appointment with Dr Judkins. I really like him. He has me trying mono-vision. He set up my right eye to see long dinstance and my left eye for close vision. Today was my first day wearing them. It's really weird, I'm not so sure I like it. My distance vision doesn't seem to be as sharp as before, but I've already noticed a difference in my close vision, it seems better. I see Dr Judkins again next week and by then I should know for sure if I want to continue with these lenses and mono-vision....So far I don't think it's that great.

sounds like it would make you nauseated. but when my lasik was finished I actually had one eye corrected better that the other. (not on purpose just turned out that way)

I have friends who have done this and it takes some time for your brain to train itself. I have heard that some people have success and for others it's not so good. I hope it works!
